Cake Picnic Cookbook Release Party

I had the opportunity to celebrate Elisa (@saltedrye) and the launch of her brand new cookbook, “Cake Picnic”, at an intimate Chrome-themed cake picnic party!

This is a first ever Lady Jasmine domed three-tiered cake. Rounded edges between each tier lends itself to one large canvas for buttercream piping to drape all the way down and around the cake in one cohesive look. It's a cake shape that is rarely seen, and certainly wowed the crowd with its extravagance and abstract, whimsical approach.

The flavor is a Barley Chocolate Cake, with Milk Chocolate Custard, Sumac Roasted Cherries, and a Rose-y Tonka Bean Buttercream. The cake is fully Plant-Based, and adorned with disco balls to fit the theme!
